Beyt el Jabal in Der el Qamar .
For lunch, I went to Der El Qamar, a unique city rich in history. Let me tell you about the magical experience and road trip to get there.
You park and walk through the old stone alleys to reach a magnificent guesthouse overlooking the valley. As soon as you step inside, you finally feel at home.
A sun-drenched guesthouse features a floor dedicated to luncheons and afternoons, while authentic Lebanese rooms surround it.
It holds heritage but in the nicest way possible.
For the food, there is an endless buffet of local dishes with a modern twist. It's impossible to taste everything on the tables.
After lunch, they take you on a tour of the whole property, introducing you to the history of the place and the ateliers there.
Finally, before saying goodbye, sit in front of the sunset with a cup of coffee in hand and enjoy the therapeutic silence.
PS: just go visit every single bathroom there trust me.
